Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist to join an established ophthalmology practice on Long Island, NY. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing comprehensive eye care services to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for patients with glaucoma diseases and conditions.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency program and an interest or fellowship in glaucoma.
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
- Eligibility for a New York medical license.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills with a focus on glaucoma procedures and management of glaucoma conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-day
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of corneal diseases and conditions.
- Collaborate with other providers and support staff to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay current with advances in glaucoma care through participation in conferences and continuing education opportunities.
