We are seeking a skilled and passionate Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic group practice located near Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cornea, general ophthalmology, and glaucoma.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions with a focus on cornea, general ophthalmology, and glaucoma.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cataract surgeries, corneal transplants, and glaucoma surgeries.
- Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and high-quality patient care.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing medical education.
Qualifications
- Medical degree and completion of a residency program in Ophthalmology.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology.
- Subspecialty fellowship training in cornea, glaucoma, or related field is preferred.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-day
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with various eye conditions.
- Perform preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in practice meetings and ongoing educational activities.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to the advancement of ophthalmology within the practice.
