We are seeking a skilled and passionate Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic group practice located near Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cornea, general ophthalmology, and glaucoma.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions with a focus on cornea, general ophthalmology, and glaucoma.
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cataract surgeries, corneal transplants, and glaucoma surgeries.
• Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and high-quality patient care.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and completion of a residency program in Ophthalmology.
• Board certification in Ophthalmology.
• Subspecialty fellowship training in cornea, glaucoma, or related field is preferred.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

Day-to-day

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with various eye conditions.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with optometrists and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in practice meetings and ongoing educational activities.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the advancement of ophthalmology within the practice.
