Overview
We are seeking a Fellowship Trained Retina Specialist to join our established practice on Long Island, NY. As a Retina Specialist, you will work with a team of dedicated professionals to provide exceptional eye care services to our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of retina and vitreous conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments
- Perform advanced surgical procedures such as vitrectomy and retinal detachment repair
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with other ophthalmologists and optometrists to deliver integrated patient care
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in retina care through continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in ophthalmology
- Eligibility to obtain New York Medical License
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
