Overview

We are seeking a Fellowship Trained Retina Specialist to join our established practice on Long Island, NY. As a Retina Specialist, you will work with a team of dedicated professionals to provide exceptional eye care services to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of retina and vitreous conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments
  • Perform advanced surgical procedures such as vitrectomy and retinal detachment repair
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other ophthalmologists and optometrists to deliver integrated patient care
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in retina care through continuous learning and professional development

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification in ophthalmology
  • Eligibility to obtain New York Medical License
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
