Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cornea Surgeon to join our team on the beautiful Southern Connecticut Coast. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing top-quality eye care to our diverse patient population and will have a strong background in corneal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform corneal surgeries including transplants, endothelial keratoplasty, and anterior segment reconstruction
- Provide expert consultation and management of complex corneal diseases
- Collaborate with other members of the ophthalmology team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in corneal surgery and contribute to the advancement of the field through research and participation in conferences
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program
- Fellowship training in cornea/external disease and refractive surgery
- Board certification/eligibility in ophthalmology
Day-to-day
